We make yummy honey! All our products are created by bees from our own colonies. Try our locally produced honey and you will love it. The bees are inspected every week to ensure that there are no signs of disease and to check that the queen is laying adequately. This is a vital part of beekeeping as it enables them to get to know their bees and their productivity on a week by week basis. It also allows for swarm prevention. The honey is filtered through a double strainer into another storage vessel.

About Jen McGuinness and This Blog. Friday, August 14, 2015. The long days of summer are already starting to shorten, and I try not to focus on how the sun sets before 8 pm now. After a busy July with graduate school work, the weeds multiplied in the garden. Now I try to keep up with deadheading flowers and plucking weeds as the month marches along. The perennial hibiscus are starting to bloom.
